But actually that is a pretty hard thing to want and we can’t all be like Greta Thunberg. So rather than looking at the really big things we struggle to influence, lets look at the things we can more easily do things about. Really importantly, if you run a business you can make your business better.

You might not be able to influence American environmental policy, but you can absolutely decide what your business’s environmental policy is. So rather than just coasting along in your business, think about the things that are important to you and your family: which might start with how much profit you are making, or how much time you are spending with your family, or if you have converted to LED light bulbs!
By improving your business, ethically and environmentally, you will make your little bit of the world better. And if enough business owners do this, then the whole world will be a bit better. Even if the only difference you make is to spend quality time with your family, then you will have made the world a better place!
